چکیده

Sulawesi Island is an island located in the Wallacea area. Most of fauna on a transitional from Australia and Asia. This study aims to model potential distribution species Bubalus depressicornis quarlesi using famous models present future as result climate change phenomena throughout beyond their natural habitat. The parameters used are bioclimatic variables in-situ presence data. method Maximum Entropy by comparing GLM, SVM, RF algorithms. evaluated with reference values AUC, COR, TSS, Deviance, observation quite good modeling B. AUC 0.92 1, COR 0.59 0.84, TSS 0.87 Deviance 0.37 0.08, respectively, while results data observations show 80% 84%. was most affected bio14=0.665, bio2=0.525, which means that this endemic suitable live tropical warm wet year, where difference temperature at night during day very large. In future, estimated be compatible area 143,281.78 km2 (81%) 136,892.89 (77%) Sulawesi.

Species distribution modelling for conservation of an endangered endemic orchid

Concerns regarding the long-term viability of threatened and endangered plant species are increasingly warranted given the potential impacts of climate change and habitat fragmentation on unstable and isolated populations. Orchidaceae is the largest and most diverse family of flowering plants, but it is currently facing unprecedented risks of extinction. Despite substantial conservation emphasi...

Modeling Species Distribution Using Niche-Based Proxies Derived from Composite Bioclimatic Variables and MODIS NDVI

Vegetation mapping based on niche theory has proven useful in understanding the rules governing species assembly at various spatial scales. Remote-sensing derived distribution maps depicting occurrences of target species are frequently based on biophysical and biochemical properties of species. However, environmental conditions, such as climatic variables, also affect spectral signals simultane...

Species distribution modelling of invasive alien species; Pterois miles for current distribution and future suitable habitats

The present study aims to predict the potential geographic distribution and future expansion of invasive alien lionfish (Pterois miles) with ecological niche modelling along the Mediterranean Sea. The primary data consisted of occurrence points of P. miles in the Mediterranean and marine climatic data layers were collected from global databases. All the used models run 100% su...

Abiotic and biotic factors responsible for antimonite oxidation in Agrobacterium tumefaciens GW4

Antimonite [Sb(III)]-oxidizing bacteria can transform the toxic Sb(III) into the less toxic antimonate [Sb(V)]. Recently, the cytoplasmic Sb(III)-oxidase AnoA and the periplasmic arsenite [As(III)] oxidase AioAB were shown to responsible for bacterial Sb(III) oxidation, however, disruption of each gene only partially decreased Sb(III) oxidation efficiency. This study showed that in Agrobacteriu...
